Book a Tution Session

Onboarding

Once you have enquired, you will be contacted and your tutor will ask you a range of questions to help with planning the tuition. You or your child may be required to complete some initial assessments to help identify where to begin. This is likely to be an online assessment, and you will be sent instructions, or it can be paper based if required. We ask you to complete this before the initial tutoring session to save you money and ensure you or your child gets the most of the first tutoring appointment.

Online Tutoring

Once a suitable day and time has been agreed, a meeting invite will be set up via Microsoft Teams or Google Meet. You will be able to access the meeting link via the email you receive, and the tutor will share their screen. The tutor will use a variety of resources and to explain and demonstrate skills, and you or your child will be involved in activities that practice the skills being taught.

Face-to-Face Tutoring

Once a suitable day and time has been agreed, you will be sent confirmation, along with directions. Parents are invited to the location where the tuition will be held, but being in the same room as your child may be off-putting. This is why we set up a Microsoft Teams or Google Meet invite for you to watch the session being conducted live (more information below).

Safeguarding

We take safeguarding very seriously and we want to ensure that you and your child are in safe hands. Therefore, all appointments, both online and face-to-face will be recorded. They will be recorded via Microsoft Teams or Google Meet, therefore parents can dial into the invite and watch the session being conducted. You can object to the recordings if you wish to do so.
